Set in the 31st century, ABYSSAL takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States where nature has reclaimed the ruins of a forgotten civilisation. The world is overrun by zoomorphic machines that function as the dominant ecosystem, while humans live in tribal societies with varying levels of technology. Follow Aloy, a young huntress of the Nora tribe and a clone of 21st-century scientist Elisabet Sobeck, as she seeks to uncover the mystery of her origins and the secrets of the Old Ones, to prevent a recurring extinction-level threat from destroying all life on Earth.

From wooden spears to heavy armour, every item is crafted by hand. Raid enemy bases, form alliances, and claw your way to the top of the ocean world's brutal food chain.
